From June 12 to June 20, the "Barcelona Design Week" was held at the Design Hub in Barcelona, under the claim "Transicions".
BDW (Barcelona Design Week), which is a member of the World Design Weeks Network, is one of the most important Design Weeks on the international calendar, where design, creativity and innovation unite year after year since 2006. This event offers a wide and interesting program with more than 100 activities (documentaries, exhibitions, conferences, workshops, talks ...) open to good taste and design lovers.
In this fourteenth edition, Hobby Flower has had the opportunity to be part of the event called Ylab's latest, a project completely designed by YLAB architects, where it has been able to show the Ashi and Urban collections in a private house on Llull street in Barcelona, standing out especially for its exquisite architectural design and its magnificent views of the sea. Other prestigious brands also participated, such as Franke, Bticino, JNF, Fusteria Gurdó, Admonter or Delta Light, who also exhibited their best products.
On June 17 the public was able to meet Hobby Flower’s collections and enjoy a free guided tour, which showcased the union of the creative talent of various brands through a selection of the best design products.
Transicions BDW'19 was held with the aim of bringing design to the public and mobilizing the sector to share the vitality of Barcelona`s design to the world, promoting its social and economic importance and inviting the public to experience it.
BCD (Barcelona Design Center) has directed this event, like every year. FAD (Foment of Arts and the Disseny) was also present in the organization, with the support of city institutions: Museu del Disseny, Ajuntament and Generalitat.
